OK, here's something that may help you all out.  This is the program 
currently #5 on the beginner hill as "Paper Eater".  Loses a lot to 
bombers, but it gets enough points off the papers to make up a lot of ground.

All this is is a multi-pass coreclear.  It coreclears with 2 passes of
SPL's before doing a continuous DAT coreclear.  If you have a bomber that is
doing not-so-well or a scanner maybe, then consider replacing your 
current coreclear with a multi-pass coreclear similar to this one.  Even 
a single SPL pass will give you a lot more points, I did two mostly 
because it's ALL this warrior does.  Because this code is self-splitting 
it will also tie imp spirals instead of losing to them.  It can beat weaker
spirals due to the decrement stream and 50% gate, but not all the time.
